Makbul Ahmed passes away

Makbul Ahmed, a well-known social worker and former president of Bangladesh Work Camps Association (BWCA) died Monday (July 20) in his government residence at Azimpur, a press release said.
He served in BWCA from 1991- June 2009 and also was associated with Noakhali Samity and Adnan Somobai Samity and other social organisations.
He performed his duty as an assistant secretary in the ministry of education and culture. He got government's 'Somobai Gold Medal' as recognition of his service. He left three sons and many well-wishers to mourn his death.
