Man awarded life term

FARIDPUR, July 12 (UNB): A court here Wednesday convicted a man and awarded him life term imprisonment for violating a minor girl who died in hospital afterwards.
The court also fined the convict Habibul Hasan Tk one lakh, in default, to suffer one year more RI.
According to the prosecution, Habibul (20), of Gandia village in Sadar Upazila raped Arjina (7), of the same village, taking her to a jute field.
