A young man took his own life at Mir Hajirbagh Piperasta, Shyampur, in the capital on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Md Nur Islam Mridha (20).
His family sources said that he was about to go to Saudia Arabia for job as he had got visa.
But due to a family rift, he hanged himself with a ceiling fan using a scarf at his residence. Being informed police rushed to the spot and recovered his body by breaking the door around 11:00 am.
