COX'S BAZAR, June 6 (UNB): A man died of heatstroke during the marriage ceremony of his daughter in Moheshkhali Upazila here Monday.
Zakir Hossain (42), resident of Putibila in the upazila, died while his daughter's marriage ceremony was on at the local Ila Community Centre at about 4.00pm.
A pall of gloom descended over the area at the tragic death of Zakir who passed away just after the 'monajat' at the end of Akd between Tania Nasrin Munni and Dr Mohiuddin Selim of the same village.
