Man killed in road mishap in city

A man was crushed under the wheels of a passenger bus at Sayedabad bus stand in the city Monday morning, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ratan (40).
Police said the Gabtali-bound bus ran over Ratan while he was crossing the road at about 8:00 am, leaving him seriously injured.
Ratan was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where attending doctors declared him dead.
A case was filed in this connection with Jatrabari thana.
