Man stabbed dead by friend in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, May 28 (UNB): A man was stabbed to death allegedly by his friend at Khejurala of the city early Wednesday.

The dead is Rana (38), a van puller of the area, who hailed from Madan Upazila of Netrakona district.

Mostaque Ahmed, additional deputy commissioner (Port) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police, said one Khairul found his friend Rana at his house when his wife Salma Begum was alone around 12:15 am.

Outraged, Khairul hit Rana with a sharp weapon, leaving him dead on the spot.
