Man succumbs to his injuries in Jessore

JESSORE, Sept 28 (UNB): A man, who was beaten up by his family members at Deapara village under Sadar Upazila Thursday, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital here Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Ashraf Hossain (46), son of Mahtab Moral.
Police quoting local people said Mosharraf Thursday morning along with his sons Al-Mamun, Sumon, Sujan and Sohag, daughter Shilpi and wife Julekha beat up his younger brother Ashraf mercilessly over a land dispute.
He was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries Saturday morning.
A case was filed. Police arrested three persons in this connection.
