CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Mar 27 (UNB): A court here sentenced a man on Tuesday to death for killing his elder brother in Gomostapur Upazila in 2016. The convicted man was Shafiul Islam (32), son of Hadisul Islam, a resident of Rohonpur Nungola village.
According to the prosecution, Shafiul hacked his brother Shahidul Islam, a corporal of Bangladesh Army of Bogra Cantonment, to death with a sharp weapon over a family feud on May 26, 2016.
