Mawa ghat to be shifted to Shimulia this Nov: Shajahan

MUNSHIGANJ, Nov 6 (BSS): Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan said today that Mawa ferry ghat will be shifted to Shimulia by this month for facilitating construction work of the long-awaited and much-talked-about Padma Bridge.

"Link road with Shimulia ferry ghat is about to complete," he told journalists while visiting Shimulia ghat here.

He said the newly constructed ferry ghat is located about 2.5 kilometre distance from the Padma Bridge because of smooth construction work of the bridge.
