Mayors of 18 municipalities get vehicles

Mayors of 18 municipalities received Toyota jeeps under the Northern Bangladesh Integrated Development Project (NOBIDEP) funded by JICA at a programme at the LGED headquarters in the city on Wednesday, says a press release.

LGED Chief Engineer Shyama Prosad Adhikari chaired the programme while Local Government Division Secretary Abdul Malek was present as the chief guest.

NOBIDEP Project Director ANM Enayet Ullah delivered the welcome speech at the programme.

Under the project, different development sub-projects are being implemented in 117 upazilas and 18 municipalities of 14 northern districts in the country.
