Mild heat wave may sweep over N-districts

Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls.

Mild heat wave may sweep over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Nilphamari and Chuadanga.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 37.7 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and the minimum was 25.0 degrees Celsius in Sitakunda.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 33.8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and the lowest was 28.1 degrees.
