Mild heat wave may sweep over parts of country

Rain/thunder showers with intense lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh, Sylhet and Rangpur divisions in the next 24-hour from 6:00 am today (Monday), according to the Met Office.

Mild heat wave may sweep over the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna and Jashore.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 48.3 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and minimum was 19.0 degrees Celsius at Sylhet.
