Mild heat wave may sweep today --

Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Monday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at a few places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions.

Mild heat wave may sweep over Khulna division.

The country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 37.6 degrees Celsius at Khulna and the minimum was 21.8 degrees Celsius at Ishurdi. The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.0 degrees Celsius on Sunday and the lowest was 25.8 degrees.
