Mild heat wave sweeping over three dists------------------

Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions until 6:00pm today (Saturday), according to Met office.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Jashore, Kushtia and Satkhira and it may continue.

The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 36.6 degrees Celsius in Jashore and minimum was 24.3 Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.0 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 26.9 degrees.
