Mild heat wave sweeps some dists -----

Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions over the country 06:00 pm today (Tuesday), according to the Met office.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi and Khulna divisions and the districts of Tangail, Faridpur, Manikganj, Rangpur, Sayedpur and Patuakhali and it may continue.

The highest temperature in the country on Monday was recorded at 38.7 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi while the lowest temperature 24 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.7 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 28.4 degrees.
