Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Friday), according to the Met Office.
Mild heatwave may sweep over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna and Naogaon.
The country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 37.0 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and the minimum was 25.0 degrees Celsius in Rangamati and Feni.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 31.8 degrees Celsius on Thursday and the lowest was 27.1 degrees.
