Mild heatwave sweeps some dists---

Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated place in the next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Chattogram, Sandwip, Rangamati, Feni, Cox's Bazar, Bandarban and Patuakhali and it may spread.

The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded at 37.7 degrees Celsius in Bandarban while the lowest temperature at 19.6 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius on Sunday and the lowest was 24.2 degrees.
