Minister orders greening of wide Chingri Mahal space

Land minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury on Wednesday directed the authorities concerned to take the necessary measures for greening the wide empty space located in the Chingri Mahal (Shrimp Pond area) to protect environment, according to a press release.

The land minister issued this directive while presiding over a meeting of the National Shrimp Management Committee held in the conference room of the land ministry in Dhaka.

Land secretary Md Khalilur Rahman was present at the meeting.

The minister stated that the policy decisions of the Land Ministry were made in line with sustainable development and environmental consciousness in mind and are acted upon accordingly.
