Minor boy killed in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Apr 30 (UNB): A minor boy was killed as a concrete cement block fell on him at village Bhasarpara under Phulchhari Upazila Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Nibaran Chandra Das (7), son of Nitai Chandra Das who used to live on a flood control embankment.
Locals said, Nibaran along with his friends was playing on the blocks which were left haphazardly by the contractor on the bank of the Brahamaputra river.
Suddenly a block fell on Nibaran, leaving him dead on the spot.
