Mir Ijaz dies

Mir Ijaz Mahmood (Tony), a retired army officer, died of old age complications at the Apollo Hospitals in the city Tuesday afternoon.

He was 86, said a press release.

He left behind his one son, two daughters, grand children and a lot of friends and admirers to mourn his death.

He was the father-in-law of  Mirza Salman Ispahani, Managing Director of M M Ispahani Limited.

He will be buried at Ispahani's family graveyard at Nakhalpara in the city today (Wednesday) after Johor prayers.  All are requested to pray for the departed soul.
