Mirpur thana OC among 3 cops sued

Mirpur thana officers were accused in a case of physically assaulting a retired government officer and helping his adversary to illegally occupy his house at Mirpur in the city, reports UNB.
Manzurul Islam filed the case in the metropolitan magistrate's court against OC Zakir Hossain and two sub-inspectors Abdul Aziz and Mohammad Badal.
After hearing the petitioner, magistrate Emdadul Haque ordered the Additional Inspector General of Criminal Investigation Department to investigate the matter and submit report on July 15.
