Miscreants shoot dead headmaster

SHARIATPUR, Jan 16 (UNB): Unidentified assailants gunned down a headmaster of a high school and injured three other people at Santospur Bazaar in Sadar Upazila Friday.
The deceased was identified as Abdus Samad Azad (47), headmaster of Chikandi Safar Ali High School of the upazila.
Police said that an armed gang shot Azad repeatedly while he was gossiping with some local people at the bazaar. When he fell down, the assailants stabbed him indiscriminately leaving him dead on the spot.
