Miscreants stab Rohingya man dead in Cox's Bazar

COX'S BAZAR, Jan 22: A Rohingya refugee was stabbed to death by some Rohingya miscreants at Balukhali refugee camp in Ukhia Upazila early morning of Monday.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Yousuf Ali (54). He was Imam of the Balukhali refugee camp mosque.

Officer -in-charge (OC) of Ukhia police station Abul Khaer said some Rohingya miscreants attacked Yousuf while he was going to mosque for Fazar prayers. They stabbed him with sharp knife, leaving him dead on the spot. Police recovered the knife from his body near the mosque.

Earlier on Friday night, another Rohingya refugee was shot dead by miscreants in the Thaingkhali Rohingya camp of Ukhia upazila.
