Rabbi, an eleventh grader at a local high school, went missing on Sunday, according to a report filed by his father.
The 21-year-old intermittently suffered from mental illness, according to his family.
Altaf told the news agency that he took Rabbi to a men's salon on Sunday evening but Rabbi all of a sudden changed his mind and insisted to go back home.
The Jatiya Party leader sent his son back home and stayed back for a haircut. But when he returned home that day, Rabbi was not there, he said.
