Arabi Islam Suba, after reported missing while crossing a street in Dhaka was located in Naogaon, reports bdnews24.com.
The 11-year-old girl went there "willingly" with a teenage boy, according to police.
Suba is now with the family of the boy, SM Jakaria, chief of Adabor Police Station, said on Tuesday.
"We have yet to take her into our custody as the girl's father is travelling there [Naogaon] with the family. The father asked the boy's family to not hand her over to the police before he reached the area."
"Her family is now in contact with the boy's family and managing the situation according to their wishes," he said.
On Monday evening, Suba's father Imran Rajib filed a general diary with the Adabor police seeking his daughter's whereabouts.
He said Suba was a sixth-grader of a school in Barishal and was living in Dhaka with her paternal aunt for a couple of months due to her mother's cancer treatment.
"Suba went out with her cousin on Sunday evening. While crossing a street, the cousin was too far ahead. When he turned around, he couldn't find Suba," said Rajib, who works in a launch.
Officer Jakaria said police had found footage of Suba with her cousin and another person in front of Tokyo Square. "They walked out of the camera frame. Police are trying to gather more footage."
The news of Suba's disappearance went viral on Facebook after she went missing.
