Moderate rain likely today---------------------

Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Dhaka and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country until 06:00 pm today (Friday) according to the Met Office.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. The highest temperature in the country on Thursday was recorded at 35.7 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga while the lowest temperature 23.9 degrees Celsius in Kutubdia of Chattogram.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 33.2 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 27.9 degrees.
