Motaleb Sarker new envoy to Lebanon

The government has appointed Abdul Motaleb Sarker, currently serving as Director General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as new Ambassador of Bangladesh to Lebanon.

A career diplomat, Mr. Motaleb Sarker also served in Bangladesh missions in Beijing, Paris, Rabat and Los Angeles in different capacities. He belongs to the 13th batch of the BCS (Foreign Affairs) Cadre.

Mr. Motaleb Sarker has obtained his bachelor's degree in agriculture from then Bangladesh Agriculture Institute, Dhaka (presently known as Sher-e-Bangla Agriculture University).
