Motorbikes likely to be banned

The Dhaka-Mawa Expressway is likely to be off-limits to motorcycles, according to the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
A joint mobile court of the Highway Police and the BRTA has to struggle to control reckless driving and traffic rule violation by the two-wheelers.
The police and the BRTA conducted mobile courts at three points of the highway in the presence of BRTA chairman Nur Mohammad Mozumder from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday.
Mr Mozumder said a ban might be imposed on the access control highway following complaints from mobile courts.
