Mugger killed in lynch-mob attack

MUNSHIGANJ, Apr 28 (UNB): A mugger was killed and another three were injured in a lynch-mob attack at Panchasar in Sadar Upazila Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Zakir Hossain (34), of Sipahipara area of the upazila.
Quoting witnesses police said six snatchers swooped on businessman Nasir at 9:00 pm while he was returning home along with his companion Zahid in a motorbike after collecting Tk 0.55 million from the house of Habib chairman of Nayagaon in Sadar Upazila.
The bandits who waylaid Nasir snatched the money at gun-point and fled the scene by a CNG-run auto-rickshaw.
