Muhith opens 12th Nat\\\'l photography exhibition in city

Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith inaugurated Friday the 7-day 12th National Photography Contest and Exhibition-2013 at the National Art Gallery of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the city, reports BSS.

Bangladesh Photographic Society (BPS) and Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy jointly arranged the programme. Vice-chancellor of Dhaka University (DU) Prof AAMS Arefin Sidique and Secretary to Shilpakala Academy Jahangir Hossain Chowdhury spoke on the occasion as special guests.

BPS president Mohammad Mujibur Rahman presided over the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Muhith appreciated the photographers for their eye-catching photographs saying that their photography depicts the real picture of Bangladesh, its soil and its people.
