Mukundalal Sarker\\\'s death anniv today

The 35th death anniversary of Mukundalal Sarker, a prominent leader of anti-British movement and a war veteran of 1971 will be observed today (Monday), reports BSS.

He was detained for several times for his role against British rule.

To observe the day, special prayers will be offered and a discussion will be held in the evening at the Dhanmondi residence (Flat # Rajonigandha B-2, House # 80, Road # 9/A, Dhanmondi, Shankar), Dhaka) of Sree Sarker's younger son journalist Ajit Kumar Sarkar.
