National Youth Day-2007 will be observed in the country Thursday with "Youths are Resources, Youths are Future" as its theme, reports UNB.
Youth and Sports Adviser Tapan Chowdhury will inaugurate the day's programmes at Osmani Memorial auditorium where 16 self-employed young men and women will receive the National Youth Award-2007.
At the function, a successful entrepreneur will also be awarded Commonwealth Youth Award-2007.
Bangladesh Betar and Bangladesh Television will broadcast special programmes highlighting the significance of the day.
