Natural historical museum to be built: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said a natural historical museum and another most modern museum will be built in the country. The Prime Minister said this when a four-member delegation of Bangladesh National Museum, led by Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, called on her at her office in the city on Tuesday morning. PM’s Special Assistant Mahbubul Hoque Shakil said the Prime Minister also gave directives to the ministry of cultural affairs to take quick steps to this end. At the function, Director General of Bangladesh National Museum Qamrun Nahar Khanom handed over the annual report of the National Museum for 2012-13 and other publications to the Prime Minister. Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office Md Abul Kalam Azad, Cultural Affairs Secretary Dr Ranjit Kumar Biswas, Chairman of Board of Trustees of National Museum M Azizur Rahman and PM’s Special Assistant Shakil were present, according to BSS.
