Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Sarwar Jahan Nizam will leave city Sunday to attend the four-day 18th International Sea Power Symposium to be held in the USA on October 16 to19, reports UNB.
Naval chiefs, naval representatives, naval experts and naval observers from about 50 countries around the world will take part in the symposium.
The Bangladesh naval chief will meet his counterparts from other countries, attend meeting on naval security and arms, and discuss naval matters of bilateral interest.
Besides, during his US visit, Admiral Nizam will make a courtesy call on US Naval Chief (Operations), said an ISPR press release.
