Director General (DG) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Dr Khandaker Md Shefayetullah has been made Officer on Special Duty, a Health Ministry circular said Monday.
He was replaced temporarily by Director at the National Institute of Eye Science and Hospital Dr Deen Mohammed Nurul Haque, as acting DG, it mentioned.
Dr Shefayetullah had been serving as the DG of the DGHS since 2010.
