Professor Dr Md Ismail Hossain has been appointed the Pro- Vice-Chancellor of the North South University recently, says a press release.
Professor Ismail was appointed Professor in the Department of Economics at North South University in 2012.
Prior to that he served as Professor of Economics at Jahangirnagar University from 1994-2012.
He completed his BA (Hons), First Class 2nd and MA, First class First in Economics from the Rajshahi University.
He obtained his PhD from the University of Toronto, Canada in 1985.
Professor Ismail is the life member of Bangladesh Economic Association and Bangla Academy.
