New ship launched on St Martins route

CHITTAGONG, Nov 14: A new travelers' ship has been launched on the Teknaf-Saint Martins route to ease water transport problem for the tourists to the coral island.
Ahmadur Rahman Badi, a ruling party MP from Teknaf, formally inaugurated the LCT Kazol recently. The ship will carry about 400 tourists in a trip, local media said.
The country's lone coral island is recently drawing all increasing number of tourists from abroad but they face trouble en route to St. Martins due to lack of adequate and modern water transports.
