Newly-wed couple found hanging

LALMONIRHAT, June 20 (UNB): A newly-wed couple was found hanging at Dighaltari village in Aditmari Upazila early Friday.

The deceased were identified as Sujon, son of Minhajul of Durgapur village, and his wife Marzina, daughter of Entaj Ali of Dighaltari village.

Locals said Marzina was married to Sujon  20 days back. Since the marriage, the couple used to quarrel .

On Thursday night, they again locked into an altercation at the house of Entaj over the issue. Later, they were found hanging from a beam of the house in the early hours.

On information, police recovered the bodies that bored several injury marks, and sent those to sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
