NGO employee killed in Jessore

JESSORE, Sept 11: A non-government organisation (NGO) employee was killed by a loan borrower at Mollikpur under Jhikargachha Upazila in the district Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Kuddus (35) field worker of the Jagoroni Chakkra Foundation, an NGO of the region. He hailed from village Baghdanga under Shalikha Upazila of Magura district.
The police said the deceased went to the residence of one Younus Ali, a loan borrower at Mollikpur under Jhikargachha Upazila Wednesday night to collect installment from him.
At one moment, Younus killed him, put the body in a sack and dumped it in a canal.
The police recovered the body from the canal later.
