NHRC submits annual report to President

National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) submitted Tuesday its Annual Report-2013 to President Abdul Hamid, reports UNB.

A NHRC delegation led by its chairman Prof Dr Mizanur Rahman submitted the report making a courtesy call on the President at Bangabhaban.

As per the report, the commission resolved 325 complaints while 108 complaints remained pending.

During the meeting, the delegation apprised the President of the various aspects of the NHRC activities.

The President told the commission to work sincerely to protect human rights in the country.
