NICVD supremo manhandled

A gang of armed miscreants assaulted the Director of National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Prof AKM Muhibullah, at his office at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the city Tuesday morning, police said.
The NICVD director told reporters some 10 to 12 criminals, including Monir, Tito, Munna and Fazlu, barged into his office room at about 10:20am and began hurling abusive words at him after disconnecting his telephone line.
