No outsiders around SSC exam centres: DMP

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) imposed on Thursday restriction on the movement of people except candidates within 200 yards of the Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C) exams centres.

DMP issued the order signed by its commissioner Khandaker Golam Faruq on Thursday.

The S.S.C/Dakhil (Vocational) and Dakhil exams will start on April 30.

The DMP said that the order was issued to ensure peaceful environment around the exams centres.

It also said that the ban will start on Sunday until end of the exams.

The exams will start at 10:00am and continue until 1:00 pm.

The candidates have been asked to enter the centres 30 minutes before start of the exams.

Mobile phones and other electronic devices will be prohibited during the exams. Legal action will be taken against the persons violate the order.

Over 2.72 million candidates will appear in the S.S.C and equivalent exams this year.
