Amina Ahmed, mother-in-law of Cultural Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, died of old age complications at the city's Labaid hospital Thursday.
She was 85, reports BSS.
She left behind five daughters, a son, relatives and admirers to mourn her death.
Amina Ahmed also worked for longtime with fortnightly magazine Dipok.
