Notre Dame, VN, City College secure first 3 positions among top 10 for 3 consecutive yrs

Notre Dame College, Viqarunnisa Noon College and Dhaka City College secured first, second and third position respectively for the third consecutive year in terms of having the highest number of GPA-5 scorers at the HSC examinations under Dhaka Board, reports UNB.
Motijheel Ideal School and College, Holy Cross College, Bir Shreshtho Noor Mohammad Rifles Public School & College, Dhaka Commerce College, Dhaka College, Rajuk Uttara Model School and College and Agriculture University College are also in tandem on the top-10 list with GPA-5 (Grade Point Average) scorers.
Out of total 2,165 candidates from Notre Dame College, 2,135 passed the HSC exams, of whom 825 achieved GPA-5.
From Viqarunnisa Noon College, out of a total of 1,134 students 1,121 passed the HSC exams. Of them, 493 obtained GPA-5.
From Dhaka City College, 2,009 candidates took part in the exams and 1,984 of them passed. Its GPA-5 achievers are 348.
Out of 940 examinees of Ideal School and College, 933 passed this year and 276 of them secured the grade GPA-5.
From Holy Cross College, 730 candidates appeared in the exams of whom 727 came out successful and 239 got GPA-5.
A total of 649 candidates of Bir Shreshtho Noor Mohammad Rifles Public School & College sat for this year's examination, of whom, 644 passed with 227 getting GPA-5.
From Dhaka Commerce College, 1,500 candidates passed out of 1,505 examinees this year, while the number of GPA-5 obtainers is 224.
From Rajuk Uttara Model School and College, 529 candidates appeared this year's exam. Of them 524 passed, while the number of GPA-5 holders is 200.
Agriculture University College, this year, secured the 10th position as its 273 examinees came out successful out of 300. Of them, 117 obtained GPA-5.
In Dhaka Board, six colleges stood out with cent per cent pass. The all-pass institutions are Shamsul Haque Khan Uchcha Madhyamik Bidyalaya, MEH Arif College, FM International College, Mymen-singh Girls’ Cadet College, Mirzapur Cadet College and Aftab Uddin Uchcha Madhyamik Bidyalaya.
