NU admission test held

The written test for first-year honours admission under the academic year 2009-10 at the colleges affiliated to National University (NU) was simultaneously held across the country Friday.
Some 3,21,544 students appeared at the admission test against 1,78,360 seats in 212 NU-affiliated colleges of honours classes, NU Dean Fakir Rafiqul Alam said.
Of the total, 43,711 candidates sat for the admission test under Science Group while 1,40,211 under Humanities Group and 1,37,622 under Business Studies Faculty.
The admission test was held in 129 centres from 11 am to 12 pm.
