Nur\\\'s aide Ali put on 6-day remand

NARAYANGANJ, July 20 (UNB): A court here placed Sunday Ali Muhammad, a close aide to Nur Hossain, on a six-day remand in connection with the sensational seven murders.

Senior Judicial Magistrate Monwara Begum passed the order when police produced him before the court, seeking a 10-day remand, said court police Inspector Habibur Rahman.

Earlier, Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested Ali Muhammad (45), one of the aides of Nur Hossain, the prime accused in the sensational seven-murder case, from the bordering area of Akhaura Upazila in Bramanbaria district Saturday morning.

Later, he was shown arrested in the case filed by Selina Begum Beauty for killing his husband Narayanganj panel mayor Nazrul Islam and his four associates.
