Nursing college teacher stabbed dead in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Jan 10 (UNB): A teacher of Chittagong Government Nursing College was stabbed to death by some unidentified miscreants in Chakbazar Telipotti intersection area in Panchlaish thana on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Anjali Devi, 50.

Police said Anjali was waiting for rickshaw near her house for going to the college around 10:00 am. Then some miscreants swooped on her and chopped her mercilessly, leaving her critically injured.

Later, she was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where she died around 11:40am.

Mohiuddin Mahmud, officer-in-charge of Panchlaish police station, confirmed the incident.
