Nurul Alam appointed Oman ambassador

Nurul Alam Chowdhury has been appointed Bangladesh ambassador to Oman, reports UNB.
Mr Chowdury was born in 1945 in Fatikchhari Upazila of Chittagong. He was elected Member of Parliament (MP) in 1973 and 1986 with Awami League ticket.
He holds a post graduate degree in History from Chittagong University. He participated in the Students' Movement in 1969 and Liberation War in 1971.
