CHITTAGONG, Apr 15: SM Nurul Hoque, director of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry and vice president of Bangladesh-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been elected chairman of the Rima Trust executive committee.
Other elected office-bearers of the Rima Trust are Md Golam Hossain (vice chairman), Habib Rahmat Ullan (secretary), Bahar Uddin Md Zobair (treasurer) and members are Principal Md Nurul Amin, Advocate Md Ibrahim, Dr AMM Ehsanul Hoque, Ahsanul Karim Siddiqui and Engineer Akbar Hossain.
Election to the Rima Trust executive committee, sponsor organisation of Chittagong Laboratory School and College, Chittagong Laboratory College and Rima Teachers' Training Centre, was held in the city's Chatteswari Road Campus on April 14.
SM Nurul Hoque was a member of Rima Trust trusty board and later elected vice chairman of the board. He acted as senior vice president of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry, first vice president of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers' and Exporters' Association and director of the Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
