Obaidul Huq's first death anniversary today

The first death anniversary of veteran journalist Obaidul Huq will be held today (Monday) at 4:00 pm at the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) auditorium at Kakrail in the city, said a press release.
In this connection, a discussion in the memory of late Obaidul Huq has been arranged, which will be presided over by National professor Kabir Chowdhury with professor Zillur Rahman Siddiqui as the chief guest.
Friends, well-wishers of late Obaidul Huq have been requested to attend the function.
Obaidul Huq, a doyen of journalism, breathed his last on October 13, at his Banani residence.
